Beautiful campus with a lot of buildings and a lovely showroom.

As I stated in the beginning, I was a loyal and satisfied customer. I will no longer be considering BMW in my future vehicles. And if only someone at the dealership or BMW North America would care to take care of an obvious lemon, my twenty plus year would have been thirty plus years.

300 Chestnut Ridge Road

Further, BMW of North America, states that there is nothing they can do because the vehicle was brought from a non-BMW dealership. I explained that it had the CPO warranty and it was a returned lease. Also, they said that buyer assistance was not approved either.

'THE' worst Customer Service in the AUTO Industry...or ANY Industry! I urged folks in their service department to visit a LEXUS dealership and see how they're treated! Have a 2010 760Li with only 40k miles; a DISASTER mechanically! Bought it for cash, 'THE' top of their line in 2010! Wish they told me then, before collecting my $, they were going to DISCONTINUE the model! Owned 18 Lexus's since 1989 and NOT ONE mechanical or service related issue! Bad stuff started on my first BMW buy at 70 miles! I thought I already had my WORST AUTO SERVICE EXPERIENCE when I had 2 MAJOR ISSUES after only 70 miles on the car but a very recent experience tops it by 10X. They have NO IDEA how to finish the job and calibrate the last part that went in last week after waiting 8-10 days for the part to arrive from Germany! I paid almost $2k for a rental car already... have had my car exactly ONE MONTH! It is now 7/14/17 and I assume they'll fix it on their own sometime in November or December! W as originally told to bring it in for a ONE HOUR fix of tire air reader (after I put air in 2 tires, I tried but could not re-set the air pressure reader via console). They found stuff wrong with the car I had no issues with when I drove in for the appointment! Likely around $10-12+k now in costs! I bought a 5 year Warranty for about $5600 after original warranty expired ,and it ran out a few months ago! The extended warranty covered about 85% of everything that could go wrong, but 90% of things that went wrong over the last 5 years fell in the 15% of not covered items! I'm a few days away from my son-in-law posting to his 1.5MM Twitter followers and 1MM other social media followers anti-BMW material (he's an internet/social media icon, gets $100k a speech globally, is on TV, etc.). Also, I am 0-for-6 on emails and voice messages left the President of BMW during the first year I owned the car!

BMW of North America, LLC

It's BMW itself. Not only this place. I BROUGHT A BRAND NEW 2017 430i back in October of 2016 at BMW of Bayside in Queens, New York. Three weeks into me having this car, the check engine light comes on. That light has been on since I purchased the car. Every time I bring it into the service center, the mechanics themselves can not tell why the check engine light is on. I contacted North America of BMW spoke with a rep named Lindsey, who assisted me with my request for a new vehicle. I was honored a new car and followed procedures with going back to BMW of Bayside. I meet with one of the general managers Joe who took on my claim after Lindsey was done on her end. This was earlier in May 2017, we are now in June 2017. I have been contacting Joe at BMW of Bayside for well over a week and he has not yet returned my phone call. I thought I was waiting for paperwork to be filled so I can move on with this matter. It only forced me to recall BMW of North America to complain again. At this point I don't want my vehicle or any other BMW vehicle. This 430 is well over $60,000 car. I'm make my payments on time every time in fact two weeks before the due dates. I have spent more times in the loaners they gave me while my 4 series was being serviced. Not once was I reimbursed or credit any payments I made while my 4 series was being serviced. The BMW of Bayside service center see me on a regular basis.... it's like I work there!!!!! I'm there every week. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!! I don't want the car, at this point I want to end this and have all monies returned. And I will not stop until I get just that. That is why Mercedes-Benz is number one. BMW has lost that spot last year. Now I see why!!! DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A BMW....

Horrible customer service...they should be ashamed on how they treat and speak to customers...my representive would call me back and leave messages after they were closed so I couldn't even call back to talk her..it took 3 days just to finally talk to her..3 days to talk to someone so rude and uncaring..it's a shame bmw has such poor customer service...I know this experience will be in the back of my mind when it's time to buy a new car..the customer service was so bad I will never recommend a bmw to anyone...very disappointed

For the past twenty plus years, I’ve been a satisfied customer of BMW. I believe the company had a good reputation, and responsible warranty coverage and knowledgeable BMW service staff. That is why I’ve bought eight BMW vehicles since 1995.

The BMW service center had replaced various parts and taken various actions to fix the “Drivetrain Malfunction” fault code. At this point I’ve been in a loaner or rental more in the past 3 months than my own vehicle. This is very frustrating and I can’t believe a company with the reputation that BMW has, didn’t take immediate action upon the third and fourth time of this fault code.

To whom it may concern:

To add insult to injury, I was asked to pay for a part that I not sure will fix the problem. My vehicle was CPO and all service was performed at a Certified BMW dealership, BMW Sarasota. The history of repairs has been documented and I can’t believe that BMW and/or the service center didn’t do more to resolve this issue.

In recent months, I have not seen the responsible warranty coverage in my BMW vehicles. The above referenced vehicle has been in a BMW service center for a “Drivetrain Malfunction” light multiple times. When this error occurs, the vehicle would shut down and would take several hours of being parked before it would start and work.
